Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the training and certification programme for a leader in advanced data automation technology.  In this high-visibility position, the successful candidate will work closely with the EMEA leadership team and ShareForce (strategic partner) to develop and execute a certification programme that will drive growth in customer adoption alongside the  development of a skilled talent pool throughout the EMEA region.  It is anticipated that this programme will result in the certification of 500+ independent technology professionals within a 12 month timeframe.   
 
Responsibilities 
The Training and Certification Manager will lead the development of the EMEA training and certification programme.  Working with an existing library of training materials to pull together a certification program that will develop and certify data professionals.  Responsibilities include: 

  • Working with the EMEA leadership team and resourcing partner (ShareForce) in the development and execution of the Certified Associate Network strategy 
  • Leading the selection and development of the core training materials to underpin the certification programme 
  • Selection and development of a dedicated learning platform as the core infrastructure for the certification programme 
  • Driving the success of the certification programme, working with resourcing partners to recruit, train and certify a community of independent technology professionals 
  • Working closely with the sales leadership team to ensure that the Training & Certification capability is aligned with business objectives 
  • Support the success of the advertising / marketing efforts required to attract candidates to participate in the certification programme 
  • Act as customer success manager / point of escalation for all candidates as they participate in the training and certification programme 
  • Evangelise the Training & Certification capability at company, client and industry events  

Required Skills / Experience 

  • The successful candidate will have excellent business, communication and management skills, along with good project management, content strategy development and training / certification leadership experience gained in a technically-led training / certification environment.  Required Skills / Experiences include: 
  • Demonstrable experience delivering training and certification strategies for technology vendors 
  • Excellent skills in project management, content creation, digital marketing and stakeholder management 
  • Deep appreciation for the software, technology landscape, ideally gained through previous experience gained a data / analytics / data warehousing software and / or services environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ideally with a 2nd European language

  • Nature of Employment:  Fixed term contract (12 Months)
