Overview ShareForce partners with leading consultancies and end clients to deliver complex Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) programmes. We are looking for a D365 F&O Technical Consultant with strong X++ capability to play a key role in ERP delivery. You will design, build and optimise solutions that sit at the heart of enterprise transformation programmes. This is not a pure development role. You will work closely with functional consultants, delivery teams and client stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, scalable and aligned to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop D365 F&O solutions using X++, extensions and event-driven patterns
- Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable technical designs
- Work closely with functional consultants to shape and refine solutions
- Support data migration and data entity design
- Contribute to technical architecture and delivery decisions
- Operate within DevOps and CI/CD environments
- Troubleshoot and optimise performance across environments
- Ensure alignment to Microsoft best practice and extension-based development
Required Experience - Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O and X++ development
- Experience contributing to ERP delivery within structured project environments
- Understanding of Lifecycle Services (LCS) and environment management
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging and problem-solving capability
Senior Consultant Level - Deep experience across multiple D365 F&O implementations
- Strong X++ expertise using extension-based development
- Experience leading technical workstreams and contributing to design decisions
- Comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior consultants
- Working knowledge of integration approaches and Azure services
Desirable Skills - Exposure to C# / .NET and system integrations
- Experience working with Azure services
- Power Platform awareness
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Azure
