Job Description

This is an opportunity for an outstanding, data-driven, story telling, commercial marketer to own the marketing funnel for enterprise sales with one for the fastest-growing technology companies in the country. The ideal candidate will have wide experience within Telecoms or IT Product Marketing as well as B2B Marketing to Enterprise sized customers. They’ll need to be credible at CXO level and be comfortable delivering pitches in front of key customers. As the majority of the campaigns will be vertical specific or even tailored for specific customers, this candidate will need to have both enthusiasm for the intricacies of the products / propositions and the ability to create stand out communication to help our Sales Team gain ‘Trusted Advisor’ status with their customers.

Responsibilities

  • To be an integral part of the Enterprise team formulating, planning, creating materials and delivering campaigns
  • Helping establish Account Directors as ‘Trusted Advisors’ to their key accounts and creating leads for new opportunities
  • Play a key role within the Marketing team, with special focus on creating positioning, communications priorities and key stories for all our product groups
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial campaign calendar for each vertical or key account
  • Establish clear analytics to ensure all activity has clear objectives and measurable results, including ROI on any spend or resources within the Enterprise Channel
  • Work in cooperation with the Product Team and suppliers to help bring together propositions and stories for all new product and features, for use across the whole company

Required Skills / Experience 

  • A creative story teller
  • Strong abilities to boil complicated / technical product specifications down into key stories and benefits for B2B target customers
  • At least 3 to 5 years in an associated B2B Marketing / Product Marketing role
  • Strong passion for and experience in IT and Telecoms products
  • A proven background in technology led Product Marketing and / or Channel Marketing roles, ideally with an Enterprise focus
  • A confident presenter to sell proposals both internally and key messages to customers externally
  • Able to demonstrate previous work with positive ROI and impressive results

Comfortable with the following technologies:

  • Hosted Telephony and Contact Centre
  • Microsoft stack, especially MS Teams / O365 as a commercial proposition
  • 5G, Mobile, Mobile Device Management and Mobile IOT
  • Advanced connectivity solutions including SD-Wan and MPLS

Experience and regular use of the following would be an advantage but not essential: 

  • Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, Word and Excel,
  • HubSpot or similar CRM
