This is an opportunity to take a key role in a global systems integrator. The Head of Delivery will oversee the commercial success of enterprise-scale Data and AI solutions within complex business environments, utilising their considerable project management and consulting experience to define and implement the delivery and client management practices across a portfolio of enterprise Data and AI Services engagements.
Responsibilities Beyond defining delivery best practice and steering the success of multiple projects, the Head of Delivery will take ultimate responsibility for delighting clients by governing the delivery process to ensure that work is scoped and delivered to a high-quality standard, on time and in budget.
- Taking responsibility for client success through the delivery of multiple enterprise data and AI services engagements.
- Establishing the delivery governance standards to keep the executive team informed of project status across the client portfolio.
- Engaging with clients and colleagues to review project status, negotiate change controls and ensure client satisfaction.
- Protecting the commercial success of consulting engagements.
- Overseeing the delivery of major global enterprise Data and AI programmes from pre-sales and bid management through to discovery, development, testing, deployment and post-implementation review.
- Mentoring and developing delivery management resources including Business Analysts, Project Managers and Programme Managers.
Skills / Experience Profile The successful candidate will be a highly experienced consulting delivery leader with the experience and strength of personality to take on a key delivery leadership role in £multi-million services engagements. Candidates will typically have:
- Proven experience in the delivery of large-scale software consulting engagements through to successful commercial conclusion.
- Significant experience of delivery leadership and digital transformation within an enterprise software environment. Including areas such as Data & AI, ERP, CRM.
- Demonstrated industry expertise, leading the implementation of complex and large-scale Microsoft Azure/SQL and Data Analytics solutions.
- Developed market appreciation for Cloud based enterprise software platforms including MS Data Platform, MS D365 and SAP.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills including the ability to mediate where necessary.
- Previously established processes and standards for enterprise software delivery from a consulting services perspective, including RAG reporting, bid process management, project quality audits/reviews and escalation procedures.
- Understanding of how to exploit modern agile project delivery methods for commercial success.
Additional Information - Salary Offered: £125k - £140k + Executive Bonus + Bens.
