An opportunity for an experienced IT Services Sales Professional to take the next step in their career into a Director level role with one of the UK's leading Microsoft partners. Specifically aligned to driving revenue in the Commercial vertical of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and closing new business, as part of a well-established team.
Responsibilities - Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a range sectors including Retail, Hospitality, Gaming, Travel and Professional Services.
- Help to support commercial clients to digitally transform services, including moving to the cloud, developing target operating models, digital by design, design by data.
- Work closely with customers to develop their understanding of the benefits of transforming services, and guide them through complex technology decision making process.
- Identify and establish new business leads and opportunities.
- Build and foster relationships with sector specific Microsoft Sales teams. Developing joint go to market proportions across exciting technologies such as Data, Artificial Intelligence, Finance and Operations and, Customer Relationship Management.
- Ensure customers are supported throughout their engagement journey from understanding a problem and developing / winning an account through to delivering a change programme.
- Be responsible for account strategy and execution, articulating a clear vision with achievable goals and supporting technical teams to develop and iterate products, strategies and roadmaps.
- Lead engagements with customers and stakeholders in a range of public arenas.
Required Experience / Skills - Strong appreciation and passion for Microsoft technologies, notably their value to deliver impactful business change and transformation.
- Relevant industry experience across business development, commercial digital transformation and the technology sector.
- Experience of operating within pre-sales and sales environments and working closely with delivery, consulting and legal teams.
- Demonstrable experience in complex contract and deal negotiations.
- Proven ability to hit and exceed revenue targets circa £2m within a global systems integration environment.
- Excellent communication skills, people management and expertise in relationship management.
- High-level understanding of modern technologies used in delivery of cloud-based software products - and able to explain the purpose and constraints of these technologies / approaches to non-technical people.
- Strong communication skills that enable you to engage with people through a range of channels and explain activities / progress in clear and compelling way.
Additional Information - Base Salary: £85k - £100k (100% OTE)
