Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software professional to manage a portfolio of exciting automations across a diverse customer base.  The Automation Operations Engineer is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of automation / low-code solutions, working at the forefront of the Robotic Process Automation industry.
Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of client solutions, acting as the first and second line of escalation for all technical challenge / queries
  • Proactively managing the code base to monitor automations and integrations and identify potential wrinkles before they appear
  • Advising clients on their usage of the solution, providing power users with the backup they need to confidently utilise the solution
  • Consistently seeking opportunities for improvement and extension of the solution
  • Working in a sandbox environment to trial and test solutions and the latest frameworks / low-code platforms
  • Keeping skills at the forefront of the Process Automation / AI landscape – Proactively training, developing and adding to a technical skillset
  • Regularly meeting client stakeholders for update meetings to advise on service health and explore future opportunities for automation
  • Helping develop the service culture for the managed service capability – seeking to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction in the delivery and management of automation solutions
  • Managing teams of 3rd part resources as required to oversee fault resolution
Required Skills / Experience
  • Experience in programming IT solutions, preferably with .NET, C#, VBA, Java, Powershell or Python
  • Strong appreciation for RPA / Low-Code technologies such as UI Path, Blue Prism, Bizagi and Automation Anywhere
  • Good communication skills and social competence for strong customer relationships 
  • Understanding of customer service delivery management concepts and processes 
  • Enthusiasm for new automation and digitization topics, such as AI, RPA and IDP  
  • Fluency in English and German Language

  • Salary Profile: €65k - €80k based on experience + benefits
